ABOUT DR NIGEL JONES

I am a Consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine who currently works as Head of Medical Services for the Great Britain Cycling Team. During my 30 year career, to date, I have provided expert care to athletes of all ages and abilities across many different sports. Prior to my role with British Cycling, I was England Rugby First Team Doctor - serving the team at Six Nations' Championships, Summer Tours and Rugby World Cup 2015. The variation in the quality of care within the Sports Medicine industry is huge. I founded Mersey Sports Medicine to raise this bar and to offer individual athletes and teams the best Doctors and Physiotherapists available.
